Not a summary of returns — a reflection on the specific moments that taught something: a thesis that turned out wrong, a pick that worked for the wrong reason, the gap between the July 2026 assumptions and what actually happened. This is the piece most likely to become real essay material, so it's worth writing once there are two full years of entries to draw from, not before.
